Kristin Looney

Kristin Looney wore many hats in her youth—Fermi Lab student at 14, 5th fastest Rubik’s cube solver in the country at 16, NASA computer engineer at 20, manager at a startup satellite company at 23. She’s always been a nerd. But starting a game company with NASA co-worker and soon-to-be husband Andrew Looney in her mid 20's showed that she truly is a little looney! And the world is all the better for it.

For the past 30ish years, Kristin has been the CEO and fearless leader of Looney Labs, makers of Fluxx, the Looney Pyramid system, and many more crazy entertaining games. She has built her company first and foremost on the need for fun in the world, focusing on building community, social equality, and environmental responsibility. Her hippie values run deeper than her tie dye!

Kristin is tons of fun to spend time with. Whether she’s playing games, telling amazing stories, creating an impromptu craft project, or racing you on solving the Rubik's cube, she’s never more herself than when surrounded by people. She’d love it if you found her at Windycon!
